This system is hard to override.
The 1993 Ford Ranger does not have an alarm override but. You can override the alarm system by removing the alarm system fuse.
Many pneumatic systems do incorporate override systems, but an override system is not inherrantly associated with pneumatics. An override system is simply a mechanism (of any kind) that circumvents a systems ordinary pattern of operation in order to produce an irregular result. Example follows: I have a telehandler (like an all-terrain forklift). It can lift 3,500kg at minimum reach, and 625kg at a reach of 9.5metres. It has what is called an "emergency manouever manual override" switch that requires a key to be inserted. If you were to lift something heavier than 625kg at maximum reach an alarm would sound and all the vehicles controlls would be disabled. This is to alert the operator to the fact that the vehicle is very close to its point of overballance. In certain circumstances it is necessary to deliberately negate this system to regain control of the vehicle and manouever the load. This is known as Overriding the system and is done by turning the override key. This tractor, by the way is operated by Hydraulics, not Pneumatics, so an override system doesnt neccessarily have to have anything to do with Pneumatics. This is just one example of how an override system may work. There are many others, some of which require manual input, others that are automated.
