Not in the same sense as say, bears. Skunks will sleep in more or less burrows or trenches, but they do not hibernate in caves ( or Ice floes) like the Bears do. They are up and around most of the year.

That's not necessarily true. There are in excess of 1200 species of skink and not all of them hibernate. For instance Otago skinks do not hibernate whilst Grand skinks in the same region do (see ref).
