Hawaii has so many cultures living there, so I'm sure that there are some arranged marriages.
Hard to say if you don't specify which countries you are talking about. Many cultures in the Middle East and Asia have arranged marriages, some of those nevertheless allow the girl to refuse proposed candidates. This however is a matter of custom. In practically all the countries where this happens you will find no trace in their laws legitimizing forced or arranged marriages. Western countries and most non-Islam African cultures allow free choice of partners and often require by law that no-one be married against his/her will.
Some people favor arranged marriages for cultural reasons. It show extreme respect to allow one's parents or grandparents to choose a mate.

I dont think arranged marriages are done by a particular religion its done in some cultures. Western culture people prefer love marriage while in asian/indian culture generally arranged marriage is done..
Arranged marriages were normal in ancient times; the bride and groom were rarely permitted to make their own choice in this matter. There are references to arranged marriages in the Bible. Homer's Odyssey not only reports marriages in Greek society, but describes the rules and traditions at some length.
They should, definitely. And they do have the right, in most parts of the world.
In some arranged marriages, it may be considered.
I wish I knew! Even in the 21st Century, some people STILL use arranged marriages to prevent their children from making "inappropriate" choices, and there's no guarantee of happiness!
