what are proceedures for replacing 2004 kia sorento spark plugs
where is the location of the spark plugs on a kia serento
As long as it is running, & starting good, & getting good mileage, change them at 100,000 miles.
spark plugs are located under plastic covers in valve covers
you can get upto 100,000 miles on a set of plugs
The spark plugs are located on either side of the engine underneathe the two rectangle shaped black plastic covers. Do yourself a favor, unless the vehicle has over 100,000 miles and/or your gas mile/performace is dropping, don't have the plugs changed. They are hard to get to. If you're not very mechanically inclined, get the dealer to do it.
Change the plugs and plug wires at around 100,000 miles or earlier if you detect a miss or loss in performance of mileage.
you have a leak... I do not have a good answer, but I would suggest you go to the nearest car repair shop.
Try using a higher octane fuel, and depending on the mileage you my need to replace your spark plugs. Look and see your air filter, if it's too clogged it may need replacing. Good luck
Spark plugs were changed at about 10,000 mile intervals. The arrival of plugs made with special metals such as platignum tips, or irridium, has extended the interval to as much as 60,000 miles. You need to check which type of plugs are fitted to any car, as standard plugs could have been used instead of the longer life ones. The handbook will usually recommend which type to use.
