Nope. All Spiders live solitary lives and even die before their young can hatch hatch. There's never been such thing as a colony of spiders except for the ones who follow Aragog. 😉

Actually yes, there are a couple dozen species of spiders that are social or quasi-social living in colonies for protection.  However, they are not hives where a King or Queen rules the others, instead it is a cooperative colony.

Spiders do not live in nests, instead they live in colonies. However not every spider species does, just a few others live independently.

Yes, quirls do live in nests but they are not the same at bird nests. They chew holesin the trunk
