Like us but they take tiny litte breaths through their mouths.
Insects go through metamorphosis.
It can not go through because it will pop.
This depends on how big the tank is, and how big the stick insects are. Generally, the stick insects need enough room to be able to move around, eat and most importantly, shed. A stick insect needs a tank three times the height as it so they have sufficient room when moulting. A moult can go horribly wrong if the stick insect hasn't got enough space.
It seems as if your stick insect might have caught themselves on something that might be putting your Stick insect into alot of pain. Or they simply might have some kind of natural infection caught from food or another insect. The best thing you can do is to take your Stick Insect to a Vet that allows Stick Insects. If you cannot find a Vet nearby that allows Stick Insects that it might be best to go to the Shop that you bought your insects from, as they probably know alot about Stick Insects because they have to maintain them. Hope your Insects turn out ok :)
No. They hatch from eggs and grow.
Horses do not go through metamorphosis, they do not change form when they grow. That is only for insects and amphibians.
Actually, stick insects will mate at any time of year. Stick insects often live in warm and tropical places where there is no such thing as "winter" or "autumn". The weather is usually stable and stays the same all year round, so stick insects will mate at any time once they have reached adulthood and found a mate.
Sadly, there isn't much you can do to save poisoned stick insects. Anything toxic gets filtered through their bodies and attacks the nervous system, so leg co-ordination is the first thing to go, followed by complete loss of the legs and eventually death. Their bodies cannot flush out toxins as mammals can as a stick insect body compared to a small mammals' is much simpler, and works in a completely different way.
Incomplete
Insects that need wings have to go through metamorphosis to get them. The larval stage never has wings,
