A score of 36 on your ACT will get very few (if any) automatic full rides. Actually, you'll get more offers for full rides as a National Merit Finalist (which requires nothing even close to a perfect PSAT and SAT) than you will with a 36 ACT. I have yet to see an automatic full ride for a 36 ACT.
It will be an advantage in scholarship competitions (which are usually held for the few full ride scholarships given out at schools), but will be considered among other factors.
Many schools do give partial scholarships based on a minimum ACT and/or GPA, though, so a 36 ACT would definitely help there.
Some schools (e.g. Ivy League) don't give merit scholarships at all.
Bottom line: It helps get money, but if you're looking for full rides, you need strong qualifications overall and hopefully National Merit, because full rides are almost all competitive, rather than automatic.
The most prestigious scholarship of this type is the National Merit Scholarship. To start the qualification process, a student must get a specific score on the PSAT. You can potentially get a full ride to college.
The difference between a full ride scholarship from a partial ride is that a full ride scholarship pays for everything from your tuition, room, board. However, a partial ride scholarship only pays for part of your tuition, you'd have to pay out of your own pocket for room and board.
With the score of a 34 on the ACT you could get a lot of scholarships, some college could also offer you full ride.

It depends on the school you plan on attending. If you have a FULL RIDE, then you have a full ride. Disgregard the amount of money, the school will cover everything.
Yes, obviously
The Chancellor's scholarship is the highest scholarship at the University of Tennessee. It is $5000 a semester. If you qualify for one of these top notch scholarships, you can procede to the final round. You will go to a banquet in the Spring before freshman year and interview for more money. The top scholarship is about $8000. With in-state tuition, hope scholarship, and the chancellor scholarship, it is possible to get a full ride to UT.
the school pays for everything
do what ever you want mate, i dont care :)
Yes, Sam Winchester, it's certainly possible.
You need a 23 to get a full ride and a 16 for a half ride. But you must be to 25% of class.
