Actually no, it is just a myth..
That depends on what you mean by super hero powers. No one has been able to consistantly produce reasonable or flashy effects like in comic books or movies but there have been several recorded incidents where people have shown completely inhuman stregnth and speed. Most of these were mothers whos's children were in danger, but flipping cars and stopping moving busses with ones bare hands has indeed occured in real life. There are also recorded clarvoiants that can take a look at you and know intimate personal details that can't simply be researched before hand.
In answer to your real question though, the closest you're going to come to being a super hero is batman or tony stark and both cases require you to be a millionaire.
