To unlock Regigigas, go to Snowpoint Temple after beating the Elite Four with all three Regis in your party. You have to have an event Regigigas in Diamond or Pearl then transfer it to Platinum in order to be able to unlock the secret caverns to be able to battle and catch Regirock, Regice and Registeel in Platinum however migrating Regirock, Regice and Registeel from a Game boy Advanced game (Ruby/Sapphire/Fire Red/Leaf Green/Emerald) into Platinum will help you to unlock a Regigigas but this specific Regigigas that they unlock is at Level 1 and resides in the Snow point Temple in Snow point Temple and this Regigigas will not unlock the secret caverns for Regirock, Regice and Registeel.
