However generally they all have the same writing system. β 12y agoMore and more people in China, at least in the larger cities, can speak English. Especially those that have completed senior high school or university. In fact to graduate from university in China a student must pass an English language test-granted there is no speaking part to this test. Generally speaking however, among white collar workers, English is considered a very vaulable language to speak.
