Unfortunately the Chevy Express of 96 TO 02 does not have folding bench. I don't know for others years.
The Chevy Kodiak is a great car to choose if you are planning on having a few kids. There are five seats located in the care. There are three in the back and two in the front.

The 2001 Chevy Express Van crankshaft sensor will be on the back of the engine. You will need to remove the rear engine cover in order to access the crankshaft sensor.
you have to cut a hole in the back above your seats that's the only way the screwed them in from the top
On the 6.0L it is located on the back of the engine block below the valley/intake manifold.
In the trunk, there are pull levers that will release the seats. One for each seat.
