Some cars have more than one computer. A climate control system is sometimes controlled by a computer.
I think you mean the engine management computer or ECU.
The only link that may involve engine management is, that some engines increase the idle speed when the A/C is turned on, to prevent stalling on automatics. Apart from that the ECU only controls engine performance.
Cant. Fan on computer runs on house current (power) which is AC and the car has a DC (direct current) power system.
Well it depends on how new it is but you can chip anything that has a computer in it.
Could be anything? Best to have a pro look at it
Check to see if the ac unit is spinning while the car is on and the ac is turned on. If it is not, you may have to replace your computer under the fan fliter. If it is, go out and get some ac dye to see if there is a leak in your ac hose
No. It actually must remain in the car, because it is on the serpentine belt.
i have a 91 Lincoln continental that the data communicatio link light comes on on the dash and stays on does it have anything to do with the computer in my car? please e-mail me at wade.hollister@yahoo.com
The computer in your car just measures how much oil you have, it doesn't need to do anything else.
What year, model, make is your car? it could be anything from the computer to the wire coming from your wheel.
can a computer function/work without ac current
You can plug an AC computer into a DC plug only if you also have an inverter to transform the DC power into the AC power that the computer power supply expects.
It depends on whether or not the power port is on when you pull out the key.
put on ac in car and over heats
