Can The Egyptian God Cards be destroyed by Dark Hole or Lightning Vortex?
Every God card's effect states, "While this card is face-up on the field, it cannot be targeted by Spells, Traps or Monsters that designate a target." Since these cards don't target, they can destroy the God cards. (Unlike the TV show, the God cards can't automatically negate any attack or effect that can destroy them.)
What are God cards?
The god cards are one of the strongest cards amongst all of yu gi oh cards. They are: Obelisk the Tormentor, Sleifer the Sky Dragon, and The Winged Dragon of Ra. All three of them need three tributes each to summon. The god cards are pretty confusing as in some episodes, they say that the god cards are resistant ot spell, trap, and effect cards but in other episodes, we see that they do take effect. Also, they say that only a persone with a mellinium item can summon the god cards. Obelisk the Tormentor has an attack and defense of 4000. He also has the power to absob the attack and defense points of two monsters that it absorbs and destroys all mosters on the field. The Winged Dragon of Ra is said its attack and defense points are equal to the sum of the attack and defense points of the monsters that were tributed to summon it .It is also said that it can go into Phoenix mode and destroy a monster on the field.Also, the user can increase its attack and defense points by giving it his life points respectively. Sleifer the Sky Dragon has attack and deffense points respective of the cards in the users hand. The attack and defence points are the number of cards in the users hand multiplied by 1000. The best tecnique is to get the cards infinite cards, pot of greed, jar of greed, etc. There is also The Creator of Light - Horakhty, which is the fusion of all three of the god cards. It says that it can only be summoned by the effect of the card The Pharaoh's Name - Atem. It is not vulnerable to traps, spells or effects and has an attck and defense of infinite. Whenever it attacks a monster, it is automaticaly destroyed, but there is no damage calculation. These are the god cards. All of them have uniqe backgroung colours and at the bottom of each card ( I'm not sure of horakhty because I havent even seen it on sale!), it is said that these cards are not elligible for tornament use. You could use it with you'r friend if he agrees and the both of you can solve out the rules on your own as there are no rules on the card text on any eccept horakkty, which I saw a picture ( not real and not for sale ) on the internet. In the shows, the other god cards can to make a monster with endless attack and defense. But in the TCG there is nothing.

Can you Block Ra's Attack with a trap card?
"The Winged Dragon of Ra" and the rest of the Egyptian God Cards do not have offical rules pertaining to them, but it is generally accepted that Spell, Trap and Monster effects cannot target God Cards. So cards like "Smashing Ground", "Mirror Force" and "Torrential Tribute" would be able to destroy God Cards. "Sakuretsu Armor", "Rageki Break", "Exiled Force" and other cards that target a specific monster would not be able to target a God Card.
