No. Minor difference, may be adapted to fit. Sights from the 740 would be a closer match. Check with Remington Customer Service- but the model 74 was only made for a very few years.
500 USD or so.
The 742 is a 740 semi auto with the feeding problems fixed. Made from mid 1950's until it was replaced with the 7400.
No my only reference to the model 597 Remington is for a 22lr semi-auto rifle.
50-200 USD
Ruger 1022 .22cal rifle (semi-auto) Remington 572 Fieldmaster .22 (pump)
Remington did manufacture a John Browning designed rifle. The Remington Model 8, semi-auto rifle was made from 1906 until 1936. The improved version, the Model 81, was made from 1936 until 1950. Remington also manufactured the Browning designed Auto-5 shotgun under their name as the Model 11 in various grades and gauges.
1148 in 12 ga. auto, field grade, would probably sell for $200, if in very good condition. There is no such thing as a 270 gauge. It is a .270 Winchester caliber, in the 7400 Remington. In very good condition, it would likely $250 or so. The scope is usually a throw-in, and will only bring extra dollars if it is a Weaver, Redfield, Lyman, Leupold (unlikely). In that case...+$50 for a good weaver, $75 for a Redfield or Lyman, and $125 for a Leupold.
About 700.00 USD.
$160-$250, depending heavily on condition. Manufactured from 1922-1935
Contact customer service at the Remington website, and request an owner's manual- they are free. The VERY nice folks at Remington just sent me a nice owner's manual for a 22 rifle made in 1955.
I don't believe there ia a model 19, a semi-auto? Possibly a 16? Is it a semi-auto 6 shot?
450 or so
