The unit i go to there is people who cant swim, however, they can encourage you to face fears, but as far as i know they won't give you full on swimming lessons
It depends on what you want to do or what you're most interested in. The Sea Cadets do lots of things as does the other Cadet Corps. Although, Sea Cadets specialises in ships, Army Cadets in guns and combat and Air Cadets with aircrafts and mechanics. So if you're not a particularly athletic person you could always join the Sea or Air Cadets. Or if you love adventure you could always join Army or Sea Cadets.

i am a sea cadet my self, i have been in the sea cadets for 4 years now, and the connection that the sea cadets have with the navy is that they follow the rules of the navy, like our orders, and rules, and dress codes. another thing that they have in common, is that they have the same uniform, and the same way we are meant to wear it.
