Is WikiAnswers sorting out the superfluous questions?
Actually, the supervisors spend a great deal of time recatorizing answers. Since we see so many questions, there are a great many repeats and rewording of the same question. Supervisors read each question and merge the same questions together. It is one of the many things that supervisors do. Some questions have as many as 400 different ways to say the same thing! But we do try very hard to make getting information as easy as possible.
Do supervisors get paid because everyone seems like it from what I read on message boards?
If you mean supervisors at most workplaces, yes they do. However, if you mean WikiAnswers, no. Volunteer supervisors and senior supervisors are not paid. It is the Community Assistants who get paid, since they actually work for Answers.
Should supervisors trash questions that ask for cheats to computer games?

Can Answers.com actually answer any of your questions?
Yes, that is actually what Staff, Supervisors, Members, and Visitors do every day, all day. We don't get to every question every day, with millions of questions asked every day, but we try!
How do you delete other people questions?
Questions on WikiAnswers can not be deleted by regular contributors. Supervisors can trash questions into a catchall category, but only advanced supervisors can permanently delete questions off the site.
Does anybody else sit there and read the most recently asked questions?
Quite a few Supervisors and members of the Vandal Patrol (especially Site Guardians) monitor the recently asked questions and answers.
Can Supervisors edit protected questions?
Yes, they can.
Why doesn't anyone moderate the questions on this website?
Actually, Answers.com is supervised by a number of Category Supervisors, who specialize in specific categories, Floating Supervisors, who have no specialty, and Community Assistants and Coordinators, who effectively supervise Supervisors, as well as performing many supervisory duties. If you find that a questions or answer does not make sense, or has been vandalized, a Supervisor has probably not yet had time to change it. I guarantee you, however, that the Supervisors do all they can to keep the site in good working order. How do you merge answers on WikiAnswers?
Only Supervisors have the ability to merge questions. Non-supervisors who reword questions may trigger a merge that will be sent to a Community Assistant for review. If the two questions should be merged, the CA will merge them.
