No whales dont think about objects that way, but do the harpoon divers know what the whales will do when they evolve enough to have the ability to hold weapons?
Not many... whales know how to stay clear of boats. In fact, they are quite difficult to hit when you are trying. This issue is not a reason why whales are endangered. The more serious issue is whaling.
Well, whales dont eat small boats because they eat things like plankton. Can you think of any plankton that are as big as a 10' dingy? No, so why would a whale ever try to eat a boat. whales don't swallow small boats because they know that it is not food, and I don't think they could get their mouth are around a small boat, also, not all whales eat plankton
they hunt about 900 to 1500 every 3yrsThey have a certain number of whales they expect to kill, called a quota. I don't know the quota of every species, but they plan to kill about 60 endangered humpback whales in 2010. The quota for other species that are more common is unfortunately much higher.
The Vulcan who spoke to whales was Spock. The reason for mind melding with the humpback whales was to bring the whales back to 2286 so they were no longer extinct and Spock needed to know if they were going to assist or resist.
Blue Whales have many benefits to us humans. They help eat the krill in the ocean. If we didn't have blue whales, there would be a ton of krill in the ocean. Blue Whales have to eat about 3 tons of krill everyday. Did You Know: That blue whales are in the endangered category and they are only an estimate of 2,000 to 5,000 left!
What their trying to say is that Going After Cacciato is more than just a story about war, as most people know that Moby Dick is more than a story about whales.
blue whales are very social once they get to know you like if you start going to the same place every day they will start to reconigize you they are very sweet just like dolphins!!=]
The only kind I know about are killer whales.....
Killer whales also know as Orca Whales or just Orca are whales belonging to the Oceanic dolphin Family.
Occasionally, yes. They're big and strong animals. If they feel threatened they can easily overturn smaller boats or knock someone out with a swipe of their tail.
Whales and dolphins echolocate-emit clicking sounds that bounce off prey or objects in order to locate and identify them. Some scientists think that captive whales and dolphins do this much more than wild populations. Although all whales chatter up a storm to keep in contact with each other and to communicate (what, scientists don't know,) some whales may not use echolocation at all, but may find their prey simply by listening. The fact that sperm whales and right whales are struck by boats suggests they may not be using echolocation to avoid these large objects.
Yes but highly impractical. I don't know why someone would want to move whales unless they were in immediate catastrophic danger. Or going extinct. Et Cetera...
