It depends on the model. The WRX and WRX STI models have a turbo. Like most Subarus, if the Impreza has a hood scoop (for the intercooler) it has a turbo.

yes the 93 WRX impreza uses a lambda but only pre cat/turbo,on the left front as you look at the car its in the upstream pipe to the turbo/cat under the car
