If you're referring to "AllergyBlock", by Cholaseptic, my guess is it's actually a topical decongestant / antihistamine. So, it's like Sudafed in a cream. It gets absorbed through your skin and treats your Allergies that way. I think this business of it supposedly "blocking" allergens from entering your nose is hogwash.
Many popup blockers do work, for the most part. Internet browsers that have their own popup blockers keep popups to a minimum. Some unwanted windows do appear from time to time, though.
