What kind of device? If it's ultrasonic, not in the long run.
No.
There are several websites that offer information on ultrasonic pest repellent. These websites include Wikipedia, Bug Info, FTC, Victor Pest, and Water Reeves.
Ultrasonic pets repellents don't even affect pests, let alone household pets. The sound waves get blocked by things like furniture, floors, ceilings and walls, which makes them near useless. I would get my money back for it and call an exterminator.
There's several pest control methods for squirrels. Poisons and traps can be used. There are also more humane methods like ultrasonic sound and strobe lights.
They don't work. i would advise against.
There are many bird pest control methods such as bird netting, scarecrows, spikes to deter perching, cats, ultrasonic sound devices, etc. The one that best suits your needs is dependent on your specific situation, finances and environment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird_scarer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird_control_spike http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bird_netting
It's doubtful anyone is going to invest much more in them. they just don't work.
Causes irritation. Uses sound waves to create a hostile environment, but any results will only be short term.
There are many products you can use at home on your own. There are traps of all prices including those that don't kill so you can release the animals. There are also some ultrasonic devices that emit an unpleasant sound only the animals can hear so they just stay away.
Electronic devices are not effective long term.
Yes it's just ultrasonic sound, but they usually don't work long if at all so I would advise against purchase.
