Slightly. Unicellular organisms grow a bit when particles enter the membrane, but when they multiply, they are about the same size as they were because they just stretch the membrane.
This is called asexual reproduction. This actually makes a genetic copy of the organism making a brand new organism. Whilst maintaining it's unicellular properties.
