You may be interested to know that vampires are actually required to hide their fangs most of the time. Under 46 USC 13 § 61VR, they are only allowed to deploy their fangs in the handicapped stalls of public restrooms and in darkened alleys on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and only between the hours of 1AM and 4AM. This has led to the misconception that vampires really cannot come out during the day and that they hang around in unsavory or creepy places. In reality these are the only places they can be themselves without risking prosecution.
