One of the Articles of Faith of the Mormon church states "We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law." Anyone who is Mormon is also required to obey the laws of their country, including Mitt Romney.

Another Article of Faith states "We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own concience and allow all men that same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may." Mormons do not believe that their faith or any other faith should be forced onto someone. All people should have the freedom to worship as they choose.
