Do we need more anti-bullying laws?

Some countries such as the UK already have strict laws against bullying. Cases of bullying must be recorded in academic records, which may affect the chances of the bully getting a job or being accepted into universities in the future.

In the UK, France, Germany, Italy and so on, bullying can also lead to arrest and trial, often resulting in a fine and community service - juvenile jail is reserved for the serious cases of bullying, for example cases where the victim nearly took or did take their life.

Some other countries lack strict anti-bullying laws. These include United States, Canada, Australia, Finland and so on. These countries do need better anti-bullying laws and procedures.
