If it hangs or dangles chances are good that it will retain a piercing. Placing the navel piercing off to the side will be problematic for aftercare and irritation during the healing process. If you haven't had a navel piercing before then stay with something that is simpler to care for and will give a result a navel piercing is supposed to give.
No. Tylenol is toxic to dogs.
Yes, benzocaine is the active ingredient in orajel, which as per this article states does not conflict with tylenol. http://www.livestrong.com/article/231335-can-i-give-my-baby-tylenol-orajel/
Please do not give ANYTHING to your baby that your pediatrician has not prescribed. Not even regular Tylenol. It could do damage or even kill you baby by supressing his/her breathing. There is liquid Tylenol with codeine for children which is much less stronger and you need to have a good reason for taking it. My son had severe headaches and it was a last resort. Then Advil came out on the market and worked much better. It was prescription back then as well. My son is now 21. Again PLEASE do not give anything like that to your child!
Give him some tylenol. My doctor recomends this.
No.
