Yes, in Japan, people have large ships that are able to hold a whole whale. They catch whales and bring them up into their ship. Once the whales are in the ship, they kill them and take out all their organs and much more. After this process, the things they do not need from the whale, they throw back into the ocean. There are also more places where this happens such as, Iceland, Indonesia, and many more places in the world. Fortunately, the United States has banned it.
Sperm Whales!
No but there are some cases of killer whales (Orca whales) attacking people and some of their trainers. Killer whales are very friendly mammals to humans because they are not threats to humans like humans are threats to them. Some killer whales attacked people by accidents, not on purpose. The human race had treated te killer whales very badly because humans killed more and more killer whales than killer whales that had killed humans before. Some killer whales were escaping from human harrassments. They are extremely intelligent ocean mammals and they also save more and more human lives from shark attacks.
No gray whales are killed. Indigenous communities in Alaska kill 50 bowhead whales a year.
In terms of natural predator then it will be Orca Whales. Orcas feed on vulnerable Minke whales, commonly younger ones. They also are threatened by Human activity like Whaling as they are killed in their hundreds every year.
whales were mainly killed for both food and wamth from the fat.
People have been killed by whales, but i don't think there are any recorded cases of a human actually being eaten. Whales come in two groups, toothed whales and baleen whales - filter feeders. (some of) The toothed family of whales does have the mouths and teeth to take a human apart into bite-sized portions, so these at least have the possibility of eating humans. But for the baleen whales I don't think it's even anatomically possible.
From 1930 to 1931 , 29 000 Blue Whales were killed.
Whales are killed for food and other by products from which a profit is made.
The whales bones got dissolved in the sea..
They can die in different ways. Some die from natural causes but some are killed because of Human activity. The main activities are hunting for certain whale species along with ship collisions. As well, some whales can be caught in fishing nets and die as a result.
