Any wheel can come off if not torqued to the correct spec. Usually aluminum wheels can be worse because of corrosion buildup on the inner face of the rim where it sits on the hub. People don't clean off the corrosion and when the rim is tightened the corroded area flakes away and the wheel can come loose. Blazers are not anymore common than any other makes for wheels coming off due to torquing issues. Sad to say but most wheels come loose because of installation errors. They are no more notorious than any other. Any lug will come off if it's not tight enough. they will also break if too tight. That's why they came up with a torque value.
