no, they do not have a level, they have ranks.
every black-ish looking star represents a rank.
so faar are they the only cards with ranks, and the first to have them.
you cannot overlay them to make another xyz summon, because they have ranks instead of levels.
There are no Lv3 XYZ monsters because XYZ monsters have a Rank and not a Level, and to all intents they are considered level-less. The Rank 3 XYZ monsters are; - Constellar Hades, - Chronomaly Crystal Chrononaut, - Black Ray Lancer, - Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Lion Emperor, - Grenosaurus, - Giant Soldier of Steel.
Yes
ok xyz summons or easy it goes by the rank of the xyz monster you combine two monsters on your side of the filed that have the same level as the xyz monster's rank. just look at how many stars are on the xyz card if its 4 then you put two level 4 monsters on top one another and put the xyz on top of them so it goes by the rank of the xyz monster.
Firstly, XYZ monsters have ranks, not levels, meaning in general they cannot be used for an XYZ summon. The two terms are not interchangable, a Rank 3 monster is not a Level 3 monster, you cannot use two Rank 3 monsters for the XYZ summon of something that needs two Level 3 monsters.Despite this there are a small handful of XYZ monsters who have an alternate summon method, where they can Overlay an XYZ monster. However for these, they specify already that the original monster's material becomes material for the new monster. If there was ever an XYZ Monster that can overlay other XYZ monsters and did not specify what happened to their material, that material would simply go to the graveyard, as the monster they were attached to has gone.
It has not, Rank and Level are two different properties. Rank is exclusive to the black 'XYZ monsters' and are represented by a number of stars on the left hand side of the card. Level is what all other monsters use, and are represented by a number of stars on the right hand of a card. The terms are not interchangable - XYZ monsters have no level, and other monsters have no rank.
In most instances, monsters used for a Fusion Summon can be face-down on the field. However, you cannot Synchro Summon with set monsters, only face-up ones.
2 or more level 4 monsters
The two terms are mutually exclusive, they are either yellow-bordered Normal monsters or black-bordered XYZ monsters, there is no such thing as a 'Normal XYZ' monster.
With these monsters I build the Overlay Network I Xyz Summon ...
No, xyz monsters dont have levels, they have ranks Ex. Utopia is a rank 4 xyz monster
Obviously into the graveyard.
Yes. Instead of Overlaying Gaia Dragon Thunder Charger over two Level 7 monsters, you can Overlay it over a single Rank 5 or 6 XYZ monster, regardless of the amount of material it has attached. In this particular case, you will then have Gaia Dragon Thunder Charger with three material monsters - the Rank 5 XYZ and its previous two material monsters.
