Do you agree that Lord Krishna lifted up the Goverdhan?

I do not agree with this. May be that Lord Krishna took shelter in the caves in the Goverdhan hill to protect his community from excessive rains. No miracles. I have deliberately added the question in the category of Christianity. I want to comment on God and miracles. God is almighty. There should be no two opinions about the same. That means He can set right the things in no time. Then why does God do silly miracles? He will solve the problem in no time.Then why does He do not solve the problems in one stroke? The reason is very simple. The God framed the rules of the nature. If He brakes the rules of nature, then He will contradict Himself only. Obviously He does not brake the rules of the nature.

That is why the Lord Krishna acted like any other mortal being. That is why it was possible for the tiny mob to crucify the Lord Jesus. If you do not entangle yourself in silly things like 1) God takes birth himself. 2) God sent His son 3) God sends the prophets, you come to the conclusion that the purpose of religion is to solve all your problems and become happy, to know the ultimate truth, to reach the abode of God.

There is one thing in common in all the religion. That is they all talk about love, compassion and kindness. Lord Krishna has mentioned at least in three places that unless and until you love others, you can not love the God.

War is permitted only when some body takes an extreme view.

You consider the story of Mahabharata. Here the Lord Krishna was a mediator between to opposite sides. Lord Krishna had a proposal that the five brothers (Pandawa) be given only five villages for survival. Rest of the earth was allowed to be taken by Kauravas. The Duryodhna refused the compromise. Duryodhana said that he will not give the land that can be accommodated on the tip of the needle.

Lord Krishna did lift Govardhana Hill. This is described in the Srimad Bhagavatam, Tenth Canto 10.25
