This contributor does... as do most Bible translations; with an extreme exception by the "Living Bible" that doesn't even use the word "Word":
"Before anything existed, there was Christ, with God..." (John 1:1 LVB Living Bible).
This contributor, in fact, usually writes the entire word all in caps [WORD] merely as a matter of my own personal reverence for God's name. For this is the same "WORD" who was the "YHVH" or "JHVH" in the Old Testament.
It's not the end of the world if "Word" isn't capitalized in reference to Christ. In one regard, it may just be a matter of "grammatical correctness" to capitalize it, like "Comforter" is capitalized, in reference to the Holy Spirit, later in John's gospel [see John 14] because it's grammatically correct to do so. In another regard, it's a matter of "reverence and respect" by man, God's special creation, for the many Holy, Sacred names of his Creator; whose name has its own Commandment written about its sanctity; the disrespect for it and transgression of it, which is a "SIN" ["...sin is the transgression of the Law." - I John 3:4]... and which carries with it the punishment of death.
Ultimately... the word "Word" is actually capitalized when "written"... not "spoken." Although as a matter of "Spiritual Respect" for God's name... one could also capitalize it in ones mind as they speak it, too.
Word of God Speak was created in 2002.
No. You capitalize the word "God" because it is a proper noun -- that is, it is someone's name. Whatever comes after it may be another proper noun or not, but there is no rule that you must capital any word after the word "God."
Only if you are referring to God.
The word for "god" in Spanish is "dios." If you are talking about the Christian God, then you capitalize the D of "Dios." It is pronounced "dee-OSE."
