If your leaving the eingine in the vehicle, you shouldn't need too.
Your cylinder head gasket needs replacing.
should you drain oil in the car if the head gasket is blow
bad head or head gasket
The head gasket is gone and water or coolant has mixed with the engine oil. Replacing the head gasket is no big deal.
Drain the radiator, remove the head, drain the oil, replace the oil filter. Install the new gasket and replace the head. Add the correct amount of oil and coolant to the engine. Start the engine and bleed all air from the system.
It would be recommended if coolant had mixed with the engine oil before the head gasket was replaced.
Yes.
Cracked block or blown head gasket.
Oil !
Check your head gasket. In addition, if your head gasket is bad or in need of replacing have your heads check for any cracks in them.
Sounds like gasket is either backwards or the oil passage hole from the block is stopped up.
Replacing the head gasket means you need to remove the head. You need to drain the oil and coolant first. ANd take off all the things connected to the head such as the timing belt, exhaustand intake manifold, Coolant hoses, etc. The head bolt will probably also need to be replacedsince theyare "stretched"
