Oil !
Cylinder. Piston. The piston. Rubber Gasket (packing). Oil Verdi.
caused by rings, hole in piston, head gasket, or valves
By honing the cylinder you establish a shallow criss-cross pattern which helps with keeping the cylinder and piston lubricated as the oil film will cling better to the cylinder walls. It also remove/smoothen the groove often left where the piston change direction.
It could be a few things. Mostly likely a leaking head gasket, worn out piston, piston rings or cylinder.
head gasket or piston rings, have a leak down test done in it to confirm gasket failure
A hole in piston is caused by extreme heat! most likely cause is coolant being introduced into the cylinder during combustion from a leaking head gasket, faulty intake manifold gasket or a defective cylinder head!
you either have bad piston rings or your valves are staying open. Other Possibilities: Blown head gasket; cracked cylinder head; cracked piston.
blown head gasket OR if in only one cylinder then maybe the plug was loose?
It is the volume of the cylinder/combustion chamber/head gasket/piston volume(dish/dome) when the piston is at the bottom of the stroke divided by the volume when it is at the top of the stroke.
Burnt Valve, worn piston rings, blown head gasket, or cracked head.
You never replace a piston without replacing the cylinder too, as they're a matched set. The ones you want are for the 1600 cc engine.
replace the cylinder gasket and check for cracks and replace the head gaskets
