It depends.
This is a logic problem.
Sell by dates are recommendations, not strict guidelines.
If it's preserved the right way, sealed foods can last for frightening amounts of time.
The best way to tell is the most common sense, does it look and smell okay?
Is the package unopened, and you just haven't used it before the date?
If it's open, how long has it been?
And has it been properly refrigerated, or has it been sitting out?
bacon two weeks out of date? just throw that away! it's not good anymore!
You can get food poisoning, so yes.
You could get food poisoning, get very sick, and possibly vomit if you eat moldy bacon.
Yes, any improperly handled food can cause food poisoning if it is contaminated by bacteria or other food poisoning microbes. When in doubt, throw it out!
Yes. Moldy anything can get you sick.
No. Food poisoning can result only from contamination of foods by a pathogen. Eggs, sausage, and bacon can be common vectors for these pathogens if not treated or stored correctly.Common bacteria responsible for food contamination are:SalmonellaEscherichia coli - "E. coli"Clostridium BotulinumClostridium perfringensCampylobacter JejuniShigella and ShigellosisListeria MonocytogenesStaphylococcus Aureus
You get drunk. And food poisoning.
Yes.
Any food can give you poisoning, it just needs to have some bacteria or be out of date. Mostly, when you leave food in an unfit place it will grow stale or mouldy and you will be poisoned when you consume it.
In the food you eat, if it smells it has food poisoning in it
The shape of food poisoning? depends I suppose on what bacteria caused the food poisoning in the first place.
If it has a sour odor, or has a weird color. Its no good. but after a month after expiration date.... i would suggest not. Unless you want to get some salmonella poisoning....or food poisoning :)
Most likely, it could also be that you're just sick
