If you're asking does the Coast Guard use weapons, the answer is yes. While they won't issue you one to take home, some CG members use them in their daily jobs. We have a few ratings (jobs) that require the use of weapons, GM, ME, PS (for reservists, but this rate is going away).
Other member's use them as well while performing law enforcement duties.
