Currently youtube is a subsidiary of Google, which means that once the deal goes through, it will be worth $1.65 billion .With the amount of growth that Youtube has been experiencing and the kind of the companies that have shown interest in it, the figure is likely to rise.

∙ 11y agoThere is only two ways I know of making money directly on YouTube. 1. is being partnered which means a company pays you to produce videos that they will add only their ads to your video. 2. You monetized your videos which means that your videos will have many different ads in and around them which can produce you money. If you have one million subscribers on YouTube, now YouTube will send you, i think it was 18 k gold play button. I cannot remember what cart of gold it is. I do not know anything about getting a million views, but I can see that you would most likely have a company want to become partner with you... so I might be able to make money, but that could also come before million views, and monetizing can be done as soon as you make 1 video.
