Not to my knowledge. I do have a .32 rimfire pistol with a little over 100 rounds of ammo for it. It does shoot but I don't shoot it anymore for the simple reason that you can't get any more ammo for it.

Made by the Hood Firearms Company of Norwich CT from about 1870 to 1888. This was an inexpensive revolver of indifferent quality (in other words, a real cheap handgun) Many guns of that type and period were .32 RIMFIRE, and should not be fired with any modern ammo.
The standard 5.56 mm cartridge is centerfire. There IS an adaptor to permit the use of .22 LR rimfire ammo for training.

These were made to fire the .32 S&W revolver cartridge. Made well after the black powder era, they should be able to use standard present day ammo.
Sporting goods stores, gun stores, or gun ranges normally have handgun ammo. As an aside, handgun ammo is in short supply at the current time.
