i was about to say what i would do personally, but then i realized how people's judgment changes... here's some questions that may help you: how long have you know your best friend? vs. how long have you known ur crush?
talk to your best friend, if they're really your best friend, they'll tell you how they feel (or at least, in a perfect world, they'll tell you what they truly feel)
