Yes I have a diagragm of the firing order for a 91 s10 blazer and you should get one too, mine is in my Haynes Repair manual # 24070. Since you don't have one I will attempt to describe how you can draw one. 1. draw a circle using a quarter as a guide to represent your disrtibutor, draw six small circles in that circle or outside that circle to represent the spark plug wires, you should have two at the bottom of the circle, one to each side and two at the top of the circle. fill in the lower right circle to represent number one spark plug wire. draw an arrow over the top of the distributor aiming right indicating a clockwise rotation of the distributor. 2. Below the distributor circle draw a rectangle to represent the engine, draw 6 circles, three on each side to represent the cylinders, number them starting at the lower right with number one, then the lower left as number two. you should end up with the numbers 1, 3, and 5 on the right side of the rectangle from front to back and 2, 4, and 6 on the left side. 3. mark the firing order below the engine block you have drawn, it is
1-6-5-4-3-2 for 1988 and later 4.3 V6 engines. 4. Now all you have to do is start with number one on the distributor and put a spark plug wire in that hole then put the other end on the number one cylinder's spark plug. The next hole in the distributor in the clockwise direction is for the number 6 cylinder following the firing order, then 5, 4, 3, and 2.
Gonna need to know which engine you have in there.
For a 1991 Chevrolet Blazer with 5.0L, 5.7L and 7.4L engines the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 The distributor rotation is clockwise. Here's a web page with a wiring diagram: http://www.chuckschevytruckpages.com/underhoodwiring.html

What size engine do you have? The 3.8 and 5.0 do have diagrams for wiring the firing order from the distributor. The 4.6 is distributorless. It is possible that your distributor is on wrong or that your wiring is incorrect if you have the 3.8 or 5.0?
You need to look for the firing order for your specific engine. That's the order you place the plug wires in. Make sure the rotation of the distributor matches the firing order.
i am looking for a diagram of the firing order in a 1997 Chevy s10 blazer 4x4.
