I would give the selling dealer the opportunity to repair the vehicle before doing anything else. They just might do it under warranty. Does no hurt to ask.
If you bought the car "as is" with no warrantee, you have no legal recourse.
. if its not under warrenty, which mines a 1992 model its about 100$ maybe alittle more.
I bought one in 1962 from a chevrolet dealer. Do not think you could purchase one in 1961 from a dealer.
give the car in the service
well, if it is used and u bought it from a dealer, just say "show me the car fax"
The sensor is the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, located under the EGR, on the side of the engine between the engine and the battery. Brass sensors can be bought at the dealer.
There are many disadvantages to buying a used car, the main one being that it can be hard to determine if there are any issues with the engine or electronics until after the purchase has been finalized. This is especially the case if the car is bought from an individual as opposed to a licensed dealer.
If you didn't get a warranty on the car you are pretty much on your own. The dealer doesn't have to do anything since you bought the car "as is". You could try to take it back to the dealer and have them fix it, file a claim against the dealer with the state automotive people, take the dealer to court, or just fix it. I think that is pretty much your options. I might do a combination of two or three of the options.
Yes. I have a friend who is a Yamaha dealer and I bought a boat from him with this engine and he had his regonal distributor run the numbers to be sure this engine was made by Yamaha.
Just keep in mind that repair bills for that vehicle won't be cheap.
Hi, Homelite bought them some years ago. Then John Deere bought them. First identify the engine manufacturer(if engine parts needed) or other parts if not engine. Suggest you physically take it to a good dealer to see if they will identify it for you. Either Homelite or Mitsubishi probably, bu old one were Xenoah (now RedMax.)
yes but the #s on top of your pcm must match your used 1.most big salvage yards sell them for $75.00 with a 30 day warrenty.
