No, you do not have to be enrolled in school to take a Driver's Education course. They are offered in most school's Health Classes, however there are many classes that you can take outside of school. You can go on the DDS website and locate a course being offered in your area. They can be held anywhere from police stations to public libraries. There are also Driver's Ed courses online. However, you must either have; graduated from high school already, or dropped out and have a GED, been homeschooled, or if your school doesn't offer the Driver's Ed course you may take it online. If none of those options apply to you. You cannot take the online course.
