No, it will bleed itself when it runs.
No you do not.
In order to bleed a fuel system on a diesel x-trail you will need to release the fuel in the system. This can be done by removing the fuel system or draining the pump.
take to a garage to bleed needs a mehanical tool to prime bleed the fuel, if u try to self bleed it by turning the engine over u will destroy the fuel pump, and big money to replace it
There is no need to bleed air from a fuel pump.
The fuel system on a 2003 is self bleeding, just start cranking the engine.
you might have burned out the fuel pump i would prime the system and hit the bleed valve on the fuel rail and see if u got pressure if not the fuel pump is at fault
To relieve pressure from the system for service To troubleshoot fuel pump performance To monitor fuel pressure regulator To evacuate contaminants from the system
No. the brake system is the only system that should be bled. If your fuel system still doesn't have pressure, you probably have a bad fuel pump. Don't forget to cycle the fuel pump with 5 key-turns ("on" to "off") before starting vehicle.
You should not have to bleed the fuel line if the system is all ok just cycle the fuel pump a couple of times by turning the key a couple of times and the air should use the return line back to the tank
The fuel pump is failing. Replace it ASAP, or you will be stranded. The fuel pump is failing. Replace it ASAP, or you will be stranded.
relieve the pressure in you fuel system by disconnecting your fuel pump the change the fuel filter the hook your pump back up
There ia an access plate in the trunk. Remove the plate, remove the lines, and remove the pump. Beware of the gas fumes and of spilling fuel in the trunk. <><><><><> Most fuel injected vehicles have a pressurized fuel system. You need to bleed off the pressure before you start to loosen fittings. Consult the shop manual.
