Yes, you must replace it every 60,000 miles. This is an interference engine and as such if the belt brakes you will have serious internal engine damage. The water pump is also driven by the cam belt. Therefore I would replace the water pump at 120,000 miles when you replace the cam belt the second time. Ignore this at your own risk.
