Can leopard geckos eat only meal worms with calcium powder or do they need crickets?

yes but try not to feed more than 3 or 4 a day b/c meal worms are varry fatty and try to avoid feeding them too many meal worms. after ur gecko has eaten them give them a bit of chicken baby food to help the digestion system. U can do this by put some baby food on the tip of ur finger and then whipe it on the end of their nose, the gecko will eventually lick it off. i would give them 2 or 3 lickfulls of the baby food. oh and also mix a little of their calcium powder in the baby food. this is VERY important, so do not forget to do this!

∙ 11y agoThis depends on the species of gecko. Rhacodactylus geckos such as crested geckos and gargoyle geckos can be maintained on a powdered formula that is served mixed with water, such as Repashy crested gecko diet.
Phelsuma day geckos can also be fed a MRP diet (such as Repashy Day Gecko diet).
Most other species of geckos are strictly insectivorous, and should be fed insects such as crickets, flightless fruit flies, wax worms, silk worms, etc. (Mealworms are not recommended for most gecko species, other than leopard and fat-tail geckos).
