You have to remove and disassemble the engine to replace the crankshaft.
If you mean the crankshaft position sensor, then yes. You access it from underneath. It is just above the oil pan on the back of the block.

In the front under the starter you have to get to it from under the car
if you are standing at thefront of the car looking back at the starter, it will be right nest to the starter on the passenger side

It's located under the car just behind the starter. Both sensors are there. The Throtle sensor and the Crankshaft sensor. You have to take out the starter to get to it.
