If its mother is still alive then no. If it is orphaned then yes otherwise it will die. If you are going to feed the kit (baby rabbit) by hand while the mother is still alive be careful because the mother may kill the baby because it has your scent. Place the kit back into the nest and after a while your scent should disipate.

You should feed it kitten replacer and don't forget to stimulate it so that it goes to the bathroom. Why are you feeding a newborn baby rabbit?? Is it orphaned? A mother rabbit feeds her babies once or twice a day. If you are attempting to feed an orphaned baby on a bottle you will need to feed it 3 or 4 times a day (space out evenly). Don't forget the other MAMA duties. Stimulate the baby rabbit to urinate by rubbing it's genitalia GENTLY with a warm water dipped cotton ball. The mother rabbit does this until the baby is able to remember to do this itself at about 10 days to 2 weeks of age.
They do, for warmth, food, and learning their way around
The mother gives the baby food and blood, to help the baby grow!
You can feed a newborn rabbit Regular milk mixed with a tiny bit of baby cereal or you can use evaporated milk mixed with the yolk of an egg. You can use a couple drops of maple syrup to substitute for the natural sweetness of the mothers milk for either of the mixtures. Always check the flow of the formula to make sure it isn't coming out too fast.
A newborn sparrow can be fed dry cat food or dog food soaked in water until it is mushy. A little bit turkey baby food can be added into the mixture also.
