I use a Nike Sportband, it is quite thin so is not ideal if you want to glance at it while running but it does track calories burned which I really like as well as the usual distance and time, you can also review data on your computer.

Do Nike Shox has the Nike+ technology and what is that?
The newer Shox all come with + technology� not sure from what year on but I heard its all recent types Nike+ is a package with iPod that if you can track your workouts while listening to music. It checks your distance, pace, time and calories burn during your run/workout and can upload it online to track your progress. You don't need to have an iPod either to work, they have a sportband now too that doesn�t need an iPod. They all need the sensor that goes in your shoe but these come with any program.
