Technically, no, but it is extremely suggested that you do, as the computer would be nearly useless without memory.
Not really. After you install new memory, Windows will automatically detect it when you next start the computer.
This is impossible to do without physically breaking the DDR socket. If you did manage to do this you're going to need to buy a new motherboard and ram. You probably shouldn't be building your own computer.
Your question is a bit vague. This is a good way to start upgrading a computer that is say 5 or more years old. Especially if you have already updated (flashed) your bios and put the fastest processor and added the most and fastest memory possible in your computer. Even an inexpensive motherboard for around $50 on can handle the latest processors, memory, etc.
ROM is an acronym for Read Only Memory, a type of unchangeable memory residing in chips on your motherboard. ROM contains the bare minimum of instructions needed to start your computer. Because it's used for critical functions, it can't be removed short of ripping it out of the motherboard; adding to it is just as difficult. Think of it as analogous to municipal utilities, such as gas and electricity. If you want a different configuration, you'll have to "move on" to a different motherboard or computer. Incidentally, the term "ROM" is also used, not entirely correctly, when referring to some kinds of storage media that can't be modified, such as CD-ROMs.
The motherboard. Every single part of the computer plugs into the motherboard in some way or another, which is why you start with the motherboard when designing a computer.motherboard
Something on the motherboard could be broken.
Read Only Memory (ROM) is not erased when you turn off your computer. There is a chip called the CMOS chip on your motherboard that holds all of the hardware information about your computer and other things as well such as the date and time. That information has to be accurate are your computer will not start properly. The motherboard has a small round battery called the CMOS battery it keeps about 5V of electricity always flowing even when you shut it off so that the data in the CMOS can be retained.ROM
It depends on the computer, every computer is different. If you want to check your memory go to Start > Control Panel > System. There you can find information about the computer, and also the memory.
It is not actually a commercial, even though it does advertise a company, it is just brand naming your motherboard of your computer.
To manage simple devices (system BIOS)To start the computer (startup BIOS)To change settings on the motherboard (CMOS setup).
shut your computer down. open up the left side of the computer. find the slot in the bottom left side of the motherboard where your agp card will fit and plug it in. put your computer back together and plug your monitor into the port on the video card. start the computer and go to nvidia.com to download the latest drivers for your card and install the drivers.
Make sure you have enough memory on your computer to install and run CS3. This program needs plenty of memory to devour, I know this for certain.
