All pets should have unrestricted access to water and ferrets particularly need plenty of water. Ferrets eat every 3 to 4 hours and need to have food and water available at all times
Keep the ferrets cage away from direct sunlightMake sure the ferret has a dish of water at all timesPlace a damp towel on top of the ferrets cageHave a fan in the room (Not aimed directly at the ferrets cage and place it somewhere the ferret cannot reach it)Freeze a bottle of water, wrap it in a blanket or towel and place it in the cage (they ferrets will lie beside it to cool down)Have a dish of water large enough for the ferret to get into so he/she can cool off it itMake sure the ferret has somewhere shaded to get out of the heat
im not shure what water can go through but salt can not but if you leave salt water in the sun or mainly if you just leave it somewhere, the water will evaporate but the salt won't.
in its water bowl
Because when you dont have any water to drink you die!! so they had to find water somewhere else :)
Feed your ferret it's regular meal in the morning. When hunting take some treats and plenty of water for your ferret.
I personally, just be really careful to not drop it, lose it, leave it somewhere or spill water on it. Just be cautious of that.
is your ferret a baby still? if so they cant eat soild food yet. You have to add water to his food until the food looks like mush. I feed mine marshall ferret food and the bag gives you directions on how much water to add and at what ages they can have less water put in. Hope this helps.
If your offering your ferret from a water bottle, try offering water in a bowl (use a heavy crock or bowl to prevent spillage) they will drink more from a bowl anyway. Make sure the water bottle is not positioned too low, so that they do not have to lower their head. If your ferret isn't drinking at all, it may be due to an illness, seek the advice of a veterinarian
Turn off the hot water to your tank and do not use any water -- and leave it off for about 30 min. -- then turn your valve back on and if you hear water going back into tank you have a leak somewhere
Leave it with tons of newspaper on the floor layerd. Food and water , If its tooo small No its not a good idea.
If they are like pet ferrets, they probably do.
although i don't know much about ferrets i can say this; it depends on what kind of water it swims in. if it swims in salt water, Chlorine treated water or any other water that might irritate its skin then yes i would suggest bathing the ferret.
