i do not even have a clue my uncle who loves bush does not even give straight answers which tells me he doesn't even know but i say knowing our government nothing is free especially money so i say lets ASSUME your tax refund in 2009 yes 2009 is 5000.00 dollars and your rebate is 1000.00 dollars your tax refund will be 4000.00 dollars in 2009 that is what i am understanding but i feel that if W did his job and actually cared about poor people this rebate would not even be necessary lets see how many people lost their homes that they worked for choosing between diapers and gas when people only make 7.00 dollars an hour so in one way we got to thank him well two ways don't forget to thank him for the high gas prices too after all the dollar is more important than humans
NO. ACTUALLY YES.. THE REBATE IS BASED ON A ONE-TIME TAX CUT. IT IS ONLY AN ADVANCE ON YOUR 2008 RETURNS. No. The CNN article that made this claim was edited, and no longer mentions the "advance, not rebate" position.
Rebate is the money you get back after the purchase. Example. I pay $5 for Candy. Due to a coupon I gave the cashier, I receive $2 in rebate.
the interest rate and a rebate. The interest rate is self explanatory. As for the rebate, some loans have money taken out of them and if you're on time to pay the first 12 repayments, you get that rebate money back and don't have to pay it. However, if you mess up, you lose that rebate and end up paying more.
A discount is a dollar amount subtracted from the original price payable at checkout. For instance, if you purchase an item priced at $100, but is marked at a 50% discount, you pay only $50 at checkout. A 50% rebate means you pay $100 at checkout, send in your rebate form, and receive $50 back by mail.
NO. There is no way to get a rebate check back for any reason.
"no its a gift from the government and not taxed. YET LOL" THIS IS NOT TRUE. We had our taxes done yesterday, and the stimulus amount was deducted from our return total. You DO have to pay it back. It was a LOAN.
First you would have to pay $80 but then you will get $50 back in a rebate
Absolutely!
Wondering what Government entity handles a tax rebate? A tax rebate is money that is given back. The tax rebate is handled by the IRS government entity.
I purchased a new home in June of 2008.
of coarse that's why its called back pay
Rancho Rebates are applied after you apply for the rebate you buy the shocks at full price and then send in your rebate information in order to receive the money back.
