Yes, and by putting the disk in your computer drive. If you lost the disk, ah well - Try buying or renting a new disk/game.
You can not play the Sims without the disc.
if your laptop does not have anyplace to put the CD, then you have to buy an external drive for it. so basically an attachable disk drive in order to play the game.
Yes- on the sims 3 website there is a compacted version of the sims 3. It's not very good though so the disc is worth the fifty USD
Hiya! You might need to read the instructions mannual again. I had this problem with the Sims 2 University. If Seasons has more than 1 disc, try inserting the other disk. If that doesn't work, then try clicking on the last installed add on. (I know it's confusing.) I can only play University when I go onto Apartment Life, which was my last installed Sims related game. So if you only have Sims 2 and Seasons, try clicking on Sims 2. Good Luck, and happy Simming! :)
There is something going around on the Sims 3 called a "disc error." What happens is the Sims game could be an entire blank disc or when the manufacturers test the game it can get whipped out. But they watch carefully for these errors. So the most logical chance of this happening is very little. So chances are your computer is just not compatible with the software. hi, its the amandaleea33 and i just wanted to say.. my computer did not meet the requirments to the game,, :( so i traded it in for 2 others :). but thanks for the answers!!! How do you know or find out if your laptop/computer is compatible for Sims 3 because mine has installed and everything but when i click play it says Disc Authentication and No Disc Found! Help please because I've only just bought this and want to play it so much :(
There are 4 discs for The Sims 2. All four are used for installation, while you need the first disc to play the game every time you start it up (you can take it out during gameplay without any side effects, so you can share the disc with others wanting to play.)
Yes you can.
I believe disc 2 is the multiplayer disc, so yes.
so you can play it
Only if you download the data contained on the second disc. If the CD is required for playing the game you will have to use a crack for that CD and a software from which you run the crack, neither of which I believe are entirely legal methods. So I'm guessing the answer for you is no.
When you insert the CD for the expansion pack it will either tell you to insert the original disc or say nothing. If it says nothing then it means that you do not need the original disc. The Sims 2 saves in your hard drive, not the CD, so all of the previous information stays.
Yes you have the ability to play in free play mode on the Sims 2 for PSP. In order to do so just go to the menu and choose the house of the Sims you want to play.
